Motorola Rival

Hey!
    I finally got a cell phone. My Mom decided to get Verizon Wireless so I got the Motorola Rival in purple and black. It's very nice and it's awesome! I added a lot of contacts and downloaded many ringtones. I can offically use it on Thurday. I've only practiced 16 days, so I have 2 more days. I already have use it a little to test it out. I think it's cool how it has a touch screen for dialing and for some other things too. I am happy I got the Motorola Rival. I'm excited to use it more.

Cell Phone

Hey!
     So normally my Mom doesn't buy her kids cell phones until their 16 years old. But, I didn't want to wait all those years. After awhile of asking my Mom and giving ideas, we finally came to a conclusion. We have a deal. If I practice my violin for 1 hour everyday for 18 days, my Mom will get me a cell phone. But, in order to keep it, I have to continue to practice 1 hour a day but for only 6 days a week. So far it's been hard, but it will be worth it. The last day I have to practice is Sept. 30th, so I am planning on getting a cell phone on Oct. 1st. I am really excited. My Mom hasn't decided if she will use AT&T or Verizon. I have been looking online to see different phones. So far I have found one from Verizon and one from AT&T that are really nice, but not to complicated. The one I like from AT&T is the LG Neon. The one I like from Verizon is the Motorola Rival. They are really alike. I like them both. I just have to wait until my Mom chooses AT&T or Verizon and I also have to wait until Oct. 1st.

Braces!

Hello Everybody!
    On September 10th. I got my new braces. I went to the orthodontist and they first put in the bands, and that hurt the most. Basically, they but 4 rings in my mouth with hooks that scrape on my cheek....ouch. After those were glued in, they glued on my brackets. Those are the square things that they put on your teeth. That didn't really hurt. When they were glued on, they but the elastics and the wire on. That was it. Oh, and I was supposed to get them on only 8 teeth, but they only put them on the top 4 because 4 on the bottom wouldn't fit. So right now they put my braces really low so my teeth moved a little bit tilted up, this will make room. I have to wear these ones for 6 weeks. Oh also, there's something weird about my braces, the elastics (the colorful things) are not normal, they have 2 of them on one tooth and they are criss-crosses. It is really weird. But maybe they put it like that for a reason. So far, my teeth are killing me, they hurt really badly. I hope the pain will go away soon :(

First Day Of School!

Hi Hi!
    Today was my first day of school! Yay! It was great :) It was a little confusing, but that's just because I'm going into Middle School. Yup, that's right, I am going into Middle School. It's so cool! It's hard finding all my classes, but I will get it soon enough. It will be a lot easier after the first week. I like the first week of school 'cause the teachers are nice and help you find classes. The teachers also don't get mad if your late for class (on the first week). I think Middle School is really fun and I am super excited :D

Backyard Theater

Hey-o!
    Last night was pretty cool. My sister organized this really cool party. In our backyard we hung a HUGE white sheet and we got my Dad's projector. We got BIG speakers and all these other electronic things (don't know what they're called....). My sister and her friends picked out a movie to watch, they picked Princess Bride. She invited lots and lots of people; from church, and from school. It was so cool! They had a table with cheese balls, soda pop, and other yummy snacks like popcorn. I was originally not invited because I wasn't a teen and no one there was my age. My other sister got to go because there was other people her age. I was pretty upset and sad. But my sister invited me to come out and join. I was happy then :) It turned out to be really fun even though most the people I didn't know.

Day Of Pain

'Ello
    Today isn't a very good day for me. It started out when I woke up around 7:00 AM. I got up and wasn't feeling very hungry, so I just grab some toast. I go on the computer while I eat my toast. Suddenly, my Mom yells "Annie! It's time to go!". I now remember what she was talking about. I was supposed to get my TDAP shot for middle school. Today was the day. The TDAP shot is a tetanus booster. All 6th graders where I live have to get it. OUCH! I HATE SHOTS!! I quickly got my clothes on and jumped in the car. The place opened at 7:30 AM and we got there at 7:35 AM. There were already 14 people in front of us. My Mom signed all the forms and we went to the waiting room. They didn't start calling anyone until around 8:30. We were just sitting there....doing nothing. After a long time of waiting, at 9:10 my Mom had to be more money in the meter. She went as fast as she could...but when she was gone they called my name. I walked over and told them my Mom was just putting more money in the meter. They made me sit down and wait for the next person. My Mom came in just a few seconds later. I told her we have to wait and she stood up and walked over to the nurses. After she told them she was back and ready, they let us go with another nurse. We walked to a room and we sat down. There was 2 nurses, one holding the door and one talking to us. They left to go get the vaccine. I was already practicing squeezing my Moms hand. They came back with the needle and explained what it was. They gave me the shot and I was squeezing my Moms hand so so so hard. "Ow....." I said softly as she slowing pressing the vaccine in. "It will sting for a minute, ok?" one nurse said. "Yeah, I feel it." I replied back. When we finally were done, we walked out of the building with my arm hurting whenever I moved it. We got home and I got ready for the next round of pain...

    At 10:30 AM, I had an orthodontist appointment. They were going to put in my spacers and next week...BRACES! When we got home, I grabbed some salad, cheese, and some yummy other stuff. At 10:20, we were in the car. We got there just in time. I signed in. I was called only minutes after. I walked in and took a seat. The dentist assistant (or whatever they are) just came over with some super small blue rubber bands. I opened my mouth as she inserted the rubber bands inbetween my teeth. She put 2 on the bottom and 2 on the top. They felt like pieces of meat that I couldn't get out. They were super annoying. The orthodontist came and talked my Mom about next week. He said I would be getting braces next week. Then we left with a sheet of paper telling me about spacers. On our way home, they didn't hurt. They were just annoying. I read the paper. It said that after 2 hours, they would start to hurt and get sore. They were totally right! After about 2 hours, my mouth started to really hurt. My mouth was super sore and it hurt to just talk and open my mouth. Around the same time, I got a small fever from the vaccine. The pain sort of went away after I had an Advil. The fever went away after I had the Advil too. The whole day so far has been long and painful.....I can't wait till tomorrow..

New Hair!

Hey Guys! I just got a new hair cut. It was kinda an intense time. It started out as me going to the Mall and going to Le Salon (a salon). The guy cut my hair to my shoulders and gave me some layers (like centimeters...) When we got home, I looked in the mirror and I noticed that my hair was completely un-even! One side was like an inch longer than the other! I was not happy at all! So my sister cut it evenly and gave me more layers (good size). And then she just gave me and awesome side part! I love it :D
My Mom says I look older. I kinda agree :)
I'm really happy about my new hair.

Candy!

Hi Peeps! I'm going to talk about candy! Yum! I love candy and I think it is so good! But, I also know that candy can be bad for you if you have too much :(
There are so many types of candy! I love everything about candy, except when my stomach hurts and when I get cavities from it. I think they should make more candy that doesn't have as much suger, so we don't get cavities (well at least not as much). I wish we could eat as much candy as we wanted! Yum Yum!
I pretty much like all types of candy. I like chocolates, chew candies, hard candies, etc. They are all so good! Comment back and tell me your favorite candy :D

School!

Hey!
This is my second post. I can't believe that school is almost here. I know for a lot of people school has already started. But my school hasn't yet. It will start soon though! I am excited and bummed and the same time. I'm excited 'cause I will see my friends and meet new people. I'm bummed because when school starts, summer is over. I love summer and I wish there was more of it. But, learning is important. I hope I will have a great time at school! Thanks for reading my second post. Oh, and good luck with your school too :)
